Arrived quickly with great packing and organization labels. Includes all the BOM with (few extras), the hat was nice addition I could only get a glimpse of it before my kids snatch it away. Now time to start the build
Pretty cool kit, I haven't fully assembled mine yet, but the parts shipped to me in the Plano box where of excellent quality, everything was in there except for one ecas fitting, which was easily acquired locally.
The one thing I would change with this kit is maybe some different colors of wire proved with the kit. Having all black in my case made extending the gearbox motor wires a tad more difficult.
All in all 10/10 would buy again, and will likely buy other things from DFH again.

My kit arrived on 3/18 and I've used all the parts in my build except for the LEDs. Everything seems to be here so far. You need to provide your own wiring for motors and sensors, not a bid deal, but be aware of that. I counted only 12 RGBW LEDs instead of 14. I'm not sure if I need 14 yet or not. The storage has really helped with the build process. And the HAT!!! I'm wearing it all the time now, and my kids reactions are worth it! ;)
Hey! The first kits were packed during Rabbitgeddon ‘24. I may have missed a thing, or two. There should be wire and 14 LEDs. I just made an order for your missing parts. Should ship to you, Monday. Glad you liked the hat!
Received my rabbit box today, I only had a few min to open it but the tool chest is awesome!! The parts are very throughly packed and the rabbit hat is a great touch (Kid already stole the hat, she says the popping up ear is another way to flip people off).
Looking forward to putting it all together.
The kit was put together pretty well and the tool box organization was a really nice touch but unfortunately I had quite a few issues and some errors, I received 9 leds and not 10( I would have figured you would received 14 as it says this is everything you need for the ERCF, ERCT and Filamatrix cutter you need 8 for the the ERCF and 8 for the ERCT), I was also missing one piece for the ECAS04 cap and of the Molex connectors I received there was one extra male for the 4 connector and for the female I had one less. Once I finished assembling the kit I noticed the D shaft was also not straight and not smooth so its causing the BMG gears to wobble a lot, So I cant really use it until Its fixed, definently not the kit and quality I expected from DFH as I've bought many many things over the years and they normally have been fantastic, but I cant recommend the kit in good faith at the moment as I am not the only one who has had some issues with the kit, I am really hopping they eventually respond to my messages so I can finish and use this kit I paid for.
Shane, first, let me thank you for your purchase, and for taking the time to write a review.
Before addressing your complaints, let me make it clear that *extras* are included to cover my ass, as is stated in my TOS–the box you checked, when you checked out. Sometimes things slip through the cracks, especially when assembling things by hand, as I do with at least some of my kits. Secondly, the people you're speaking of, having similar issues, I can't find. I mean, I looked in email, on discord, i even googled. I can only assume you're referencing the comment above, where i also fixed the issue immediately.
LEDs: as you can see here, https://www.dropbox.com/s/o59tt55s43dyg58/Screenshot%202024-04-01%20at%2011.27.49%E2%80%AFPM.png?dl=0 the BOM states 4 LEDs, for a 4 cart (used as an example) for your machine, I included one extra. Yes. I admit, you were one short of the 2 extra, but you’ve got what BOM calls for AND what you ordered. The LED count is on the listing.
Micro-Fit and ECAS: These, also, fall under the CYA portion of the *extras*. You have more than you need. I will, though, ship these to you, along with the single L:ED.
Shaft: I’ve gone over multiple shafts of different cart sizes here and they all seem fine. I believe you, though.
Of course, I want you to be satisfied with such an expensive purchase. You’re welcome to return the entire kit for an full refund. I’ll even give you a $15 gift card for your trouble.
Also, sorry I didn’t reply to the email you sent on Friday, until Monday afternoon.
If i don’t hear back from you by Wednesday, I’ll ship out the *missing* pieces.
